Easy Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 9" pie crust
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 cup light Karo syrup
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Place pie shell in a 9" pie pan.
  • Combine Karo syrup, cinnamon, eggs, sugar, butter, vanilla extract in a medium bowl.
  • Stir in pecans. 
  • Bake on the center rack of oven for 60 - 70 minutes. Tip: cover edges of pie crust with tin foil before baking to prevent them from over-browning. 
  • Cool for 2 hours before serving.
