Servings 1 cups

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari sauce)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp chili paste
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1 tsp hoisin sauce (optional)

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, add all ingredients. Whisk together to combine.
  • Add water to thin your sauce as needed. Add a splash of water at a time until it reaches your desired consistency. If your sauce is too thick, add more peanut butter. Add more spice (chili paste) or acidity (lime juice) or sweetness (honey) to fit your taste preferences.
  • Serve as a dipping sauce (for meats, veggies or spring rolls) or drizzle it over salads or noodles. To store the sauce, keep it in an airtight container for up to a week.
