Easy Ham and Cheese Breakfast Quiche: Simple, Filling, Delicious!

  • Author: The Cabin Diary

Description

This Easy Ham and Cheese Breakfast Quiche is full of fragrant herbs, gooey cheese, and juicy ham. It comes together within minutes!

Ingredients

Scale

1 pie crust

6 eggs

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon pepper

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

¾ cup heavy whipping cream

¼ cup chopped bell peppers

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

3 tablespoons fresh herbs or 3 teaspoons dried

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375℉ and lightly grease a 9-inch pie pan. Roll out the pie crust and press it into the bottom of the pie pan. If desired, crimp the edges for a decorative effect.

  • Combine the eggs, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and cream in a large mixing bowl until fluffy. If using dried herbs, add them now.

  • Pour the egg mixture into the pie crust and evenly sprinkle the chopped peppers, cheese, ham, and herbs over the top.

  • Place the quiche in the oven and bake until the center is just set, checking after 30 minutes. If the crust is browning too quickly, you can tent it with tin foil or add a pie crust protector. Your Easy Ham and Cheese Breakfast Quiche will have a total cook time of 45-55 minutes. The quiche is done when the center is barely set. Let sit for a few minutes before slicing in. Enjoy!
