Description
Classic turkey stuffing only better: loaded with cranberries, walnuts, apples, apricots, celery, and onions.
Ingredients

- 1 onion (diced)
- 3 stalks celery (chopped)
- 1/4 cup apricots (diced)
- 1 apple (diced)
- 2/3 cup butter
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1/2 tsp sage
- 1 package Stovetop Bread Cubes
- 1 cup cranberries
- 1/4 cup walnuts (diced finely)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease a 9 x 9 baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
- Dice onions, celery, apples and apricots. Chop walnuts.
- Melt butter in a large skillet. Add onions, celery, apple, apricots. Cook about 5 minutes, or until onions, apple and celery are soft. Stir in sage, thyme, salt and pepper.
- In a large bowl, add stovetop bread cubes, cranberries, walnuts, chicken broth and mixture from the skillet.
- Stir gently to combine all ingredients. Pour into a 9 x 9 baking dish. Cover with foil.
- Bake for 15 minutes, remove foil and bake for another 20 minutes or until top is slightly browned.
