Description

This easy crockpot apple cider recipe is quick (prepared in 5 minutes, ready in 2 hours) and tastes delicious. It’s a classic recipe full of festive flavors & that will make your home smell heavenly while it brews!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 cups apple juice
  • 1 1/2 tsp whole cloves
  • 1/2 tsp whole allspice
  • 1 star anise (optional)
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup (or brown sugar)
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 2 apples, sliced

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients to your crockpot and cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours. Cover your crockpot while it cooks and there’s no need to stir the cider as it brews.
  2. Remove the spices and slices of fruit before serving. Use a small strainer or slotted spoon to remove the spices & slices as you serve the cider.
