This easy crockpot apple cider recipe is quick (prepared in 5 minutes, ready in 2 hours) and tastes delicious. It’s a classic recipe full of festive flavors & that will make your home smell heavenly while it brews!
- 8 cups apple juice
- 1 1/2 tsp whole cloves
- 1/2 tsp whole allspice
- 1 star anise (optional)
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 1/3 cup maple syrup (or brown sugar)
- 1 orange, sliced
- 2 apples, sliced
- Add all of the ingredients to your crockpot and cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours. Cover your crockpot while it cooks and there’s no need to stir the cider as it brews.
- Remove the spices and slices of fruit before serving. Use a small strainer or slotted spoon to remove the spices & slices as you serve the cider.
