This recipe has all of the perfect pumpkin pie flavor without getting overly complicated. It’s a classic, easy pumpkin pie recipe that’s impossible to get wrong.

As soon as the leaves start to change, it’s pumpkin pie season. And in our house, pumpkin pie is a necessity at BOTH Thanksgiving and Christmas.

But pumpkin pie is usually one of many desserts, or it’s the finale to a big meal. It’s never a dish that we want to focus all of our energy on. Especially on busy holiday cooking & baking days.

One of the best parts of this recipe is that it uses pumpkin pie spice. If you’ve never baked with this before, it’s found in the spice section of the baking aisle.

Or you can make your own pumpkin pie spice using this recipe: How to Make Pumpkin Pie Spice.

I’ve also used Libby’s Pumpkin Puree in this recipe. That’s the brand that we always had in our house growing up, so I’m biased toward it 🙂 It’s a classic choice that’s tasty and oh so good.

Here’s what it looks like so that you can easily track it down when you do your grocery run:
