As soon as the leaves start to change, it’s pumpkin pie season. And in our house, pumpkin pie is a necessity at BOTH Thanksgiving and Christmas.

But pumpkin pie is usually one of many desserts, or it’s the finale to a big meal. It’s never a dish that we want to focus all of our energy on. Especially on busy holiday cooking & baking days.

Easy Pumpkin Pie Recipe

Easiest ever, 5 ingredient perfect pumpkin pie.

Cook Time 40 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 16 oz can pumpkin puree
  • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 9 inch pie crush

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
  • Combine ingredients in a large bowl and pour into pie crust.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes and then turn the temperature down to 350 degrees for 35 – 40 minutes, until filling is set and slightly golden brown.

One of the best parts of this recipe is that it uses pumpkin pie spice. If you’ve never baked with this before, it’s found in the spice section of the baking aisle.
