There’s something so cozy about a stew cooking all day in the slow cooker, especially in winter – and especially in a cabin! This beef stew recipe is one of our favorite cold-weather meals, mostly because it’s easy to make and will warm you up no matter how chilly it is outside.
The proportions of vegetables listed here are what we use, but if you prefer one over another (for example if you love carrots but hate celery), adjust accordingly! You really can’t go wrong with this recipe, so feel free to customize it to your tastes.
Load up your slow cooker now, or save this recipe for the next cold front that comes through – you’ll thank yourself when you’re cozied up with a bowl of this heartwarming stew!

2 cups beef broth
⅓ cup flour
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
