This recipe, along with Slow Cooker Turkey Breast and Bison Chili are dinner favorite that can make a large batch.

Ingredients:

Most of the ingredients for these meatballs are pantry staples. I usually end up keeping these ingredients on hand so that I can cook these when I’m short on time.

Here’s what you need:

  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • (½ cup plain breadcrumbs)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • Salt & pepper to taste

How to Make Asian Keto Turkey Meatballs:

STEP 1:

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.

STEP 2:

In a large bowl, mix together all the ingredients. The meat mixture will be fairly wet, just sticky enough to form into meatballs. If you find that it’s sticking to your fingers too much, try rinsing & wetting your hands first.

TIP: A hack for keeping your meatballs Keto and more easily shaped into balls is to add 1 – 2 tablespoons of grated parmesan cheese. I find that this usually isn’t necessary, but it can be a tasty addition that helps your meat mixture stick together.

STEP 3:

Form meatballs out of the meat mixture and place them on a nonstick baking pan.

NOTE: This recipe makes about 12 – 15 meatballs, depending on how large you make them. If you’d like to have leftovers or meal prep for the week, it’s easy to double the recipe. Double all the ingredients and then fill your baking sheet with all the meatballs.

STEP 4:

Cook the meatballs for 12 – 15 minutes, until they are lightly browned on top and cooked through. Optionally, serve them with a drizzle of Sriracha or soy sauce.

Tips for Making Asian Keto Turkey Meatballs

  • Customize them: Adjust the ingredients in the meatballs to your preferences: if you like your meatballs spicy, double the amount of Sriracha; if you love some extra ginger flavor, sprinkle some more in. The ingredients in the meatballs can be customized to your preferences.
  • Too spicy? The recipe has a low spice level, but if you’d prefer zero spice, leave out the Sriracha sauce.
  • Too wet? If your meat mixture comes out too wet, add 1 – 2 tablespoons of grated parmesan cheese. This will help bind it together instead of using a traditional binding ingredient like breadcrumbs.

These Asian Keto Turkey Meatballs are easy and quick to make. Double the recipe for some easy Keto meal prep and tasty lunches for days.
